Someone on the team cooks with it, carries it or sleeps under it for at least a month. If it annoys us, it doesn’t make the cut.

Built to be repaired
We look for screws over glue, replaceable parts over sealed units, and materials that can be cleaned, oiled or patched.

Better with age
Cast iron darkens, canvas softens, leather picks up character. We choose things that look better worn in.
